A Look Back—The Road In
Another favorite shot from the same photo expedition. This is near the June Lake Loop, a beautiful drive along California Highway 158, about 12 miles south of Lee Vining. Taken with a 70-200mm lens.

A Look Back—Tufa Lens Flare
I had overlooked this Mono Lake shot. I have never used a star filter to create an effect like this, but shooting directly into the sun created this lens flare. October, 2008.
