I captured a single shot and paid no more attention to it. It was only later, as I reviewed the day’s images that I noticed the unusual orange-red colored eye.

Moss Landing Wildlife–Sea Lions 4

Photograph of sea lion swimming in Moss Landing HarborAlthough they are a nuisance, sea lions are protected marine mammals and extreme measures can’t be used to drive them away. The earlier posts of sea lions made them seem rather benign. These teeth are a reminder that they are wild creatures and can be very vicious.
