Road Trip–Yaquina Bay Bridge

Photograph of the Yaquina Bay Bridge at Newport, OregonThe Yaquina Bay Bridge was built in 1934-36. It is one of eleven bridges along the Oregon Coast Highway designed by Conde McCullough, an engineer who was head of the Bridge Division of the Oregon Department of Transportation. The bridge is one of the more recognizable landmarks along the Oregon coast.

Road Trip–Multonomah Falls

Multonomah Falls are the best known of the Columbia River Gorge waterfalls. There was less water in the falls in October of a dry year, but still they are beautiful.
