Favorite Images From 2011–Crepuscular Rays
Often called God’s rays, crepuscular rays stream through gaps in the clouds as columns of light contrasting with a darker background. They occur most frequently around dusk or dawn when contrasts are most apparent. Crepuscular is the Latin word for twilight.

Favorite Images From 2011–Dog On The Beach
Before 2012 fades away, I thought I would look back to a few personal favorite images from 2011 that I haven’t posted here already. 2011 was a productive and prolific year. I added 11,897 images to my catalog. Many came from my trip to Alaska and Canada, and many were bracketed exposures, multiple exposures of the same scene taken at different shutter speeds. I added another large number to separate catalogs for clients or specific assignments. The posts that follow are from my personal catalog and the only criteria they meet is that I like them.
