A small business located near the entrance to the Taos Pueblo. The trees behind the building are cottonwoods and, in October, provide much of the Fall color around Taos.
One of my favorite locations in England and one of my favorite shots. Tehidy Country Park is near Portreath, Cornwall, and was once part of a manor owned by the Basset family, wealthy tin mine owners. This pathway was probably a driveway for carriages.
The Heceta Head lighthouse is probably the most photographed lighthouse along the Oregon coast. It sits 205 feet above the Pacific. Its beacon can be seen 21 miles from the land.

The Cape Creek Bridge at Heceta Head, along the southern Oregon coast. It was built in 1932. This desaturated photograph, almost black and white, seemed to reflect the mood of the rainy day.
We arrived at this beach below the Heceta Head Lighthouse too late to climb to the lighthouse. The fog rolling in made it seem darker than it actually was. At this point, we didn’t know where we would camp, so couldn’t stay long.
