I wanted these horses and riders to stand out so I removed the color from the background. I like the effect in this instance.

These two riders for the Morro Photo Expo were using American Western gear. I softened the details and added a saturated glow to give the image a dreamy feel.

Horses On A Beach
In late October I attended Morro Photo Exposition in Morro Bay, California. It was a weekend of classes, lectures on different aspects of photography, and, most enjoyable of all, an opportunity to shoot in a spectacular location. One of the organized events was the chance to photograph several riders and horses on the Morro Bay beach at sunset. Over the next several days I will post images from that shoot.
Two riders used English style gear and two used American Western gear. These riders are using English gear.
