The light was already harsh, but I couldn’t neglect this angle with the moon. From a camping trip to Death Valley in January, 2009. Taken at Red Rock State Park, California. Taken with the 70-200mm telephoto lens.
December 15, 2008 was a productive day for photography. Several of my favorite shots came from the dramatic skies that accompanied a winter storm. I followed rainbows from Asilomar to Moss Landing that day.
Building / Colorful — Comments Off on A Look Back—Embassy Suites 19 Mar 18
An early morning view of the Embassy Suites hotel in Seaside, California. I liked the reflections in Laguna Grande Lake. It was an unusually still morning. November 1, 2008.
Another favorite shot from the same photo expedition. This is near the June Lake Loop, a beautiful drive along California Highway 158, about 12 miles south of Lee Vining. Taken with a 70-200mm lens.
Lake / Landscape — Comments Off on A Look Back—Tufa Lens Flare 05 Feb 18
