Road Trip–Yaquina Bay Lighthouse Kitchen
The Yaquina Bay lighthouse was active for only three years until the Yaquina Head Light was commissioned in 1873. It is the only existing structure in Oregon which houses the living quarters in the same building as the light. Several rooms are furnished in late 19th century style. This was a blended exposure to balance the interior and exterior light.

Road Trip–Yaquina Head Lighthouse Spiral Staircase
There are 168 stairs up to the top of the lighthouse. The original Keepers climbed several times a day with heavy buckets of oil to keep the light burning. It is hard enough to climb unencumbered; I can’t imagine what it would be like with a heavy weight.

Mingle Warehouse
The Fresno Brewing Company and Warehouse, also known as the Mingle Warehouse is on the National Register of Historic Places. Its period of significance to commerce was between 1900 and 1924. Today it is one of many warehouses and industrial buildings just south of downtown Fresno. Many of the buildings are closed, abandoned or neglected.
