As I review my images, I find many photographs of arches, archways, doors, doorways and gates. I am drawn to subjects that suggest passages and transitions. Over the next several weeks I will post images of a variety of arches, doors and gates. This is a wide-angle shot looking from the front doors of the Mission San Juan Bautista toward the rose gardens. The mission is located in San Juan Bautista, California, about 90 miles south of San Francisco.
