Zephyr Point–Boat Shed
The same morning as the previous post, fifteen minutes later. The sun is striking the peaks but already the color is fading from the water.

The Sierra Nevada mountains, as well as all of California, are in the grip of a relentless drought. That meant very cold temperatures but no snow or rain. The snow on the ground is left from a single storm in November. Even though there were no clouds, the lake reflected a little color from the rising sun.
