A Look Back—Tufa Lens Flare

Photograph of the sun rising behind tufa columns at Mono Lake, CaliforniaI had overlooked this Mono Lake shot. I have never used a star filter to create an effect like this, but shooting directly into the sun created this lens flare. October, 2008.
